She was born in 1981 in Ankara. She went to Bahçelievler Primary School.

She graduated from Çorum Anatolian High School in 1999 and started to study at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.

She graduated in 2006 and started her specialty education at Medical Pathology Department of Ufuk University in 2009.

In 2014, she completed her specialty thesis Demonstrating the Role of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia in Biopsies of Patients Diagnosed with ASC-US (No Significant Atypical Squamous Cells) and obtained the title of Medical Pathology Specialist.

Between the years 2014-2016 T.C.S.B. Yozgat Sorgun State Hospital and between 2016-2019 T.C.S.B. She worked as a Pathology Specialist in Beyhekim State Hospital, Konya.

In 2016 T.C. shee also received the title of Workplace Dentist from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Dr. Zehra Edebal is currently working at the Near East University.
