Antibiotic is one of the most misused drugs in our society. Improper use of antibiotics leads to the development of antibiotic resistance and the body to remain unresponsive to antibiotics. This complicates the treatment of diseases and puts the health of all of us at risk. To raise awareness of the community is the most important step to prevent the formation of antibiotic resistance.
For this purpose, the North Cyprus Dental Association organized an event for the World Antibiotic Awareness Week. Information teams were established at the university campus and at Nicosia. Teams took all day long to correct the right known mistakes about antibiotics.
