2026–2027 Academic Year Academic Advising Information
Dear Students,
Welcome to the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry.
As you begin this new academic journey, each student is assigned an academic advisor to support your transition to the Faculty and university life and to provide academic guidance throughout your education.
Your academic advisor is a faculty member whom you can contact for guidance regarding course registration and selection, academic matters related to your education, and other issues for which you may need academic support or direction.
Academic Advisor Assignments
Academic advisor assignments for newly registered students for the 2026–2027 Academic Year have been completed and entered into the Genius Student Information System.
The 2026–2027 Academic Year Academic Advisor List for Newly Registered Students is provided below. Students can check the list to identify their assigned academic advisor.
For Students Enrolled in the English Program
The academic advising process for students enrolled in the English program will be arranged according to their English proficiency and preparatory school status.
- Students who are exempt from the English Preparatory Program will be assigned an academic advisor by the Faculty of Dentistry, and the assignment will be entered into the Genius Student Information System.
- Students who are required to attend the English Preparatory Program will be assigned an academic advisor by the relevant Preparatory School for the duration of their preparatory education.
- For students whose English proficiency/preparatory school status has not yet been finalized, Faculty academic advisor assignments will be completed once their status is confirmed.
Contacting Your Academic Advisor
You may contact your academic advisor via e-mail.
When contacting your advisor, you are required to use the @std.neu.edu.tr student e-mail address assigned to you by the University.
Please include your full name, student number, and the reason for contacting your advisor in your e-mail to ensure clear and efficient communication.
Course Schedules and the Start of the Academic Year
The course schedules for the 2026–2027 Academic Year have been published on the Faculty website.
Classes will begin on Monday, 21 September 2026.
The Course Registration Guide, together with all other announcements regarding registration, education, and academic procedures, will be published on the Faculty website.
We kindly ask all newly registered students to check the Faculty website regularly, particularly during the first weeks of the academic year, to ensure that they do not miss any important announcements.
