Dear Students,
After the decision taken by the Higher Education Institution (YÖK) on February 9, 2023, YÖK was contacted. It has been received from YÖK officials that a statement will be made on the subject next week. The date of 20 February 2023, announced by the University Rectorate for the opening of the spring semester, remains valid. However, the information that our students affected by the earthquake will not be victimized was received from the University Rectorate. A status update will be made after the YÖK statement on the subject next week and it will be announced to you, our esteemed students, immediately.
We express our deep sorrow for the losses we have suffered after the disaster we experienced, and we pray for God’s mercy. We hope that our nation will never experience such pain again…
