
Assist.Prof.Dr.Beste Kamiloğlu
Beste Kamiloğlu, was born in Nicosia in 1959. She got High School education first at The English College until 1975; she then continued her education at Lefkoşa Türk Lisesi and graduated in 1977. She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1982. The same year, she started her PhD education at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics. In 1987, she received the title of Doctor of Science by presenting her doctoral thesis titled "Investigation of the Area and Dimensions of the Mandibular Symphysis in Individuals with Different Facial-Skeletal Structures" under the supervision of Assoc.Prof.Dr.Mirzen Arat.
In 2015, she was promoted to Assistant Professor at Near East University. She served as Vice Chief Doctor between the years 2010 and 2016. Since September 2022, she has been serving as the Head of the Department of Orthodontics.
She has published Articles in National and İnternational İndexed journals; She has made presentations at Congresses and Symposiums. Beste Kamiloğlu's academic interests include preoperative treatment of babies with cleft lip and/or palate using feeding plates and PNAM appliances, and Treatment approaches to Children with Congenital Anomalies. Her foreign languages are English and German. She is married and has two Children.
