Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Günal Abdulcelil was born on December 8, 1989, in Ankara. She completed middle school with the first rank in 2004 and high school again with the first rank in 2007. In 2012, she graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry. Following her graduation, she started her doctoral education in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the Near East University Health Sciences Institute. In 2018, she defended her doctoral thesis titled "Comparison of Translucencies of CAD-CAM Monolithic Restorations and Investigation of the Effect of Cement Shade" and obtained the title of Doctor of Science.
In 2018, she was appointed to the position of assistant professor at Near East University. In 2022, after completing the associate professorship exam, she was appointed as an associate professor at Near East University.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Günal Abdulcelil, who has various articles published in national and international indexed journals, has also participated in various congresses and symposiums, presenting her research. Her academic and clinical interests include aesthetic dentistry, implant-supported prostheses, all-ceramic restorations, adhesive cementation, bruxism (teeth grinding), and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems.
