Ceren Melahat Dönmezer Birand was born on November 23, 1994 in Nicosia. She graduated from Nicosia Turkish Maarif College in 2012 and started her undergraduate education at Near East University Faculty of Dentistry. She graduated successfully in 2017 and started her doctoral studies in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Near East University in the same year. In 2022, she received the title of Doctor of Science by defending her doctoral thesis titled "Comparision the Postoperative Effect of Local Antibiotic versus Systemic Antibiotic with the Use of Platelet Rich Fibrin on İmpacted Mandibular Third Molar Surgery"

She was appointed as an assistant professor at Near East University in 2023.

Articles in national and international indexed journals; Assistant Professor Dr. Ceren M. Dönmezer Birand's academic and clinical interests include implantology, reducing post-surgical effects with current approaches in wisdom surgery, and extraction of erupted and impacted teeth that need to be removed for orthodontic reasons, intervention in post-traumatic jaw fractures, intervention and removal of cysts and tumors.
