
Dilara Koruk was born in 1995 in Famagusta. She graduated from Famagusta Turkish Maarif
College in 2013 and from the Faculty of Dentistry at Near East University in 2018. Following
her graduation, she began her Ph.D. studies at the Institute of Health Sciences, Department of
Endodontics, at Near East University.
In 2022, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled “The Impact of Laser-Activated
and Conventional Irrigation Techniques on Sealer Penetration into Dentinal Tubules” and was
awarded the title of Doctor of Science.
As of September 2022, she has continued her academic career as a faculty member at the
Department of Endodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University. In 2024, she was
appointed as an Assistant Professor in the same department.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Dilara Koruk has authored articles published in internationally indexed
journals and delivered presentations at international conferences. Her academic interests
include the use of lasers in endodontic treatments, bioceramic materials used in endodontics,
irrigation and activation in endodontic treatment, and root canal filling techniques.
