Dr. Dilem Toksoy was born in 1997 in Nicosia. She graduated from Gazimağusa Türk Maarif
College in 2015 and from the Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University in 2020, earning the
title of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). In the same year, she commenced her Ph.D. studies
in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University.
In May 2024, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Evaluation of
Marginal and Internal Fit of 3-Unit Monolithic Zirconia Restorations Fabricated by Additive
and Subtractive Techniques” and was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
In September 2024, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University, upon the decision of the
University Appointment and Promotion Committee.
She has authored and co-authored several scientific articles published in national and
international peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at various scientific congresses. Dr.
Toksoy currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of
Dentistry, Near East University, where she continues her academic and scientific studies.
