Dr. Gizem Andaç Yanal was born on October 6, 1993, in Nicosia. She completed her high school education at Turkish Maarif College in 2011. She graduated from the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry with the title of "Dentist" in 2018. Subsequently, she started on her doctoral studies in the Department of Endodontics at Near East University Institute of Health Sciences. In 2022, she attained the title of Doctor of Science by defending her doctoral thesis titled ‘’Impact of Different Access Cavity Designs and Ni-Ti Files on the Elimination of Enterococcus faecalis from the Root Canal System". She has presented and published abstracts at international congresses. Her academic and clinical interests are as follows: Endodontic microbiology, endodontic treatment and techniques, irrigation and activation in endodontic treatment, and root canal filling.
