
Gözde Canik was born in 1997 in Famagusta. She completed her undergraduate education at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry and graduated in 2020. In the same year, she commenced her Ph.D. studies in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University.
In April 2024, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled ‘ Evaluation of Microvoid and Microleakage Potential of Bulk-fill Resin Composites in MOD Restorations’’ and was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
In September 2024, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University, upon the decision of the University Appointment and Promotion Committee.
Dr. Canik currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Near East University, where she continues her academic and scientific studies.
