He was born in Nicosia. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Famagusta. After graduating from the Hacettepe Faculty of Dentistry in 2008, he completed his doctorate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Near East University Faculty of Dentistry in 2013. He received the title of assistant professor in 2016 and associate professor in 2021 and currently works as a lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His main interests are oral diseases, facial trauma, dental implantology, and temporomandibular joint disorders. He has scientific articles, and oral and written presentations published in national and international journals and congresses.
