Semih Arkoy was born in Nicosia in 1994. He graduated from Bülent Ecevit Anadolu High School in 2012 and from Near East University Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. In 2017, he started his doctoral education at Near East University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics. In 2023, he defended his doctoral thesis titled "The Effect of Different Surface Treatments on the Repair Bond Strength of Cad/Cam Resin-Matrix Ceramics" and received the title of Doctor of Science.

Dr. Semih Arkoy has an article in an internationally indexed journal. He also attended and made presentations at various conferences and symposiums. His academic and clinical interests include; adhesive dentistry, dental materials, temporomandibular joint disorders, and removable and implant-supported prostheses. He is married.
