
Tağmaç Özberk was born in Nicosia in 1994. He graduated from Levent College in 2012 and Near East University Faculty of Dentistry in 2018. In 2018, he started his doctoral education at the Near East University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Restorative Dentistry. In 2021, he defended his doctoral thesis titled "Optical changes of human dentin after non-vital bleaching and effect of Er, Cr:YSGG laser on micro-shear bond strength of a self-etch and an etch-and-rinse adhesive system" and received the title of Doctor of Science.
Dr. Tağmaç Özberk was appointed as a member of the Education Program Commission in 2022. At the same time, he served as the General Secretary of the Turkish Cypriot Privately Employed Physicians Association from 2019 to 2025 and has been serving as the Vice President of the same association since 2025.
Dr. Özberk was awarded the title of Assistant Professor in 2024. He has articles published in national and internationally indexed journals and presentations at congresses and symposiums. His academic interests include additive manufacturing technologies, whitening/bleaching applications, and laser applications.
