Collegium Dentalis Astroturf Football Tournament Concluded with Great Excitement

The Collegium Dentalis Astroturf Football Tournament, organized within Near East University Faculty of Dentistry to strengthen student interaction, team spirit and social integration within the faculty, was completed with high participation and great enthusiasm.

Eight different teams competed in the tournament, where students demonstrated not only sporting competition but also friendship, solidarity and teamwork. Bringing together students from different year levels, the organization stood out as an important social activity supporting one of the main objectives of the Collegium Dentalis system: enhancing horizontal and vertical interaction among students.

Throughout the tournament, students displayed fair play on the field while also attracting attention with their athletic performance and strong communication with their teammates. Following the final matches, the winning teams and students who stood out with their individual performances were recognized.

The championship team consisted of the following players:
Rıdvan Öztürk, Mahmut Kemal Yetimler, Cudi İrmez, Yusuf Mert Can Çaçan, Hasan Ali Karasu, Tunç Özen, Fırat Aba, Egemen Özbiçer, Yusuf Aktürk and Abdullah Öztürk.

The runner-up team included the following players:
Arda Arslan, Ege Erdoğan, Atahan Coşar, İsa Görkem Bal, Sanjar Gurbanova, Gökhan Karakuş, Diyar Çelebi, İbrahim Uygur and Nazmi Furkan Tekbaş.

Students who distinguished themselves through their individual performances were also recognized. Atahan Coşar received the title of Top Scorer, while Arda Arslan was awarded for the Best Goal Performance.

We sincerely thank our studentsArda Arslan, Ege Erdoğan and Atahan Coşar for their dedicated efforts in planning and organizing this meaningful event. We also congratulate all participating students, the winning teams and the students who stood out with their individual achievements.

Near East University Faculty of Dentistry attaches great importance not only to the academic development of its students but also to activities that support their social, cultural and sporting development.
