To the attention of students in preclinical

To the attention of our students in clinical classes,
Whether online or face-to-face education model is preferred, all clinical-training students have to be successful in the oral examination they will all take on the Google Meet platform, as determined by the relevant department, in order to be qualified to start their clinical internship. The examinations of the students who are not successful will be repeated.
After being successful in oral examination, students who prefer face-to-face clinical training can both perform clinical observation and treat patients. They have to provide all their protective equipment (mask, shield, protective overalls). Although, these students will not be subjected to any clinical work quota; attendance requirement will be sought. Students who have completed their clinical training will be eligible to take the final theoretical examination of relevant department.
After being successful in oral examination, students who prefer online clinical training can complete their clinical internship with one of the evaluation methods (homework, project, presentation, etc.) as determined by the relevant department. Students have to complete their clinical training assignment within the clinical internship period. Students who have passed from their clinical training assignment will be eligible to take the final theoretical examination of relevant department. Students who fail the assignments to be done instead of clinical training will be given the right to compensate on the dates that will be determined later on. Students who are successful in the compensatory assignment will enter the theoretical final examination at the end of the year; those who fail will submit their assignment again before the make-up examination.
Our students have to submit their choice regarding the education model (face-to-face / online) to class representatives by September 24, 2020; class representative, on the other hand, will send the collective list to Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Çaygür Yoran ([email protected]) via e-mail.
